  1. Our sincere condolences to Carol’s family. Great communities are a product of wonderful, committed human beings, and Carol was proof of that notion. She made a difference.

  2. Carol will be deeply missed and warmly remembered as her rainbow shines over the valleys and mountains of Western Montana. Thank you for the legacy you have left us and for the seeds planted in each of our hearts to make this world a better place.

  3. Carol was a most dedicated woman to making this world a better place. Carol always had a big, big love for family and friends. I will so miss her. Hugs to her kids and grandkids and her many loved ones.

Carol was the most amazing grandmother I couldve ever imagined for my son…. she inspired me to be my best and gave Matthew some of the best memories of his life. she will always and forever hold a place in our memories and our hearts…my prayers go to her family for strength and love in this very difficult time…just remember that all of you are a part Carols rainbow that will live on, and carry her legacy….she HAS been and always WILL BE an Angel….We love you Carol!!<3

  5. I knew Carol from the Obama for President campaign and will never forget her incredible level of dedication and spirit. She was such an inspiration to us all. I am so sorry for losing her and my sympathy to all her family and to our whole community.

  6. I’ve known Carol since high school. Over the years our paths have crossed and we’ve been able to keep in touch. I was so looking forward to spending time with Carol at our 50th High School Reunion this summer. My deepest sympathies go out to her family and friends. She will be sincerely missed by all her knew her.

She was there for the exciting campaigns that everyone showed up for and the less exciting campaigns where every person made a huge impact. I am so grateful for the opportunity to know her and work alongside her. She was a great role model of the kind of work we should all strive towards.

  8. Carol was a very special person. She put her head down and worked hard with a smile for any and every cause she believed in. She was a pleasure to be around. It is difficult to put into words, suffice to say, I miss her and am sorry for her family. I hope that I can be more like Carol.

  11. We were so lucky and very thankful to have Carol in our lives for the last two years. She loved and cared (and read and sang) for our son Hudson and he loved her right back! (along with Gus)
    We miss her! but her positive influence in our lives will always be remembered.
